Based in Liverpool, UK, Jacob has been quietly forging a career as a collaborator amongst a tight-knit circle of emerging artists across the UK. Equally versed in recording live instruments and programming electronic arrangements, Jacob’s strongest suit is close collaboration with creatively demanding and forward-looking artists across genres. Making use of his multidisciplinary skill-set as a recording engineer, producer, writer and musician.

Equally comfortable with being given a basic voice memo, or a fully demoed arrangement, he works to capture a unique sonic world in each project. With a process driven production style, he outputs high quality, effortlessly natural, perfect-yet-imperfect recordings.

Since starting his career as a freelancer in 2023, he has amassed radio play on BBC Radio 1xtra, BBC Introducing and achieved editorial placements on Spotify New Music Friday UK, Spotify Fresh Finds Pop, Spotify New Pop UK and Deezer Rising Pop.

In 2026, Jacob launched sunplant.studio - a community-driven home base for his production and mixing services. A studio across studios, it’s rooted in the culture of Liverpool’s music scene, supporting local talent, voices and businesses.

At the start of the preproduction and recording process it was so much fun as we bounced ideas across, and Jacob's input was invaluable to the final song creatively - in both mixing and arrangement.
It was as simple as turn up and create and the end product of "Afire Love" is beyond anything I expected.
